Horst Rechelbacher sold Aveda to Estee Lauder in 1997 and founded Intelligent Nutrients, a personal care line based on organic food-grade ingredients, in 2008.(organic spa magazine, May-June 2012)

Before opening the doors at One Green Street I thought Aveda was the purest personal care and cosmetics line out there. It took me a year and a half to find a haircare line I felt comfortable putting on my shelves or my head for that matter.  Then finally…I read about Intelligent Nutrients.
